Creating a lead-gen behemoth, industry leaders HomeAdvisor and Angie’s List have agreed to merge. IAC Interactive which owns HomeAdvisor had offered $512 million to acquire Angie’s List in 2015 however this offer was turned down. Those in the lead-gen business have to take this as a sign that the business world values lead generations seriously yet there is still huge room for the smaller companies to make their mark.
