Per the LA Times, the US Supreme Court has refused to overturn a lower court’s decision to allow a class-action lawsuit to proceed again the internet giant. Arguing that Google allowed for ‘low-quality websites’ to display ads, the court said that a formula for damages should be used rather than Google’s position that individual damages should be calculated for each advertiser. It remains to be seen what sort of refunds advertisers may see (small/large/none at all).
